The Junior League of Evansville was created back in 1926 by a small group of women who wanted to "foster development of charitable, social, economic and educational projects; and to promote efficient volunteer service in connection therewith.” Here we are, 94 years later, and that mission is still the same.

Traci Woodruff is the current President of the Junior League of Evansville and she came on the MY Morning Show to Be MY Guest. We appreciate Tami telling us about the League's history and what they've been doing in our community for nearly a century. She also told us about the annual FREE lunch program they offer to kids over spring break. Take a minute to listen to our interview below.

And here's more info on when and where they'll be handing out free lunch during spring break.
