Owensboro real estate agent Matt Brown will be more than happy to find you a home, and if you ask nicely, he'll probably share a burger with you. After all, he's got a side hustle to maintain, and Owensboro Burger Week wouldn't be the same without it.

Utilizing the invaluable Burger Week Guide that comes to us from Estes Elementary School third grade teacher Katy Tierney, Matt and his team--yes, he has a team; this is serious business--will fan out across Owensboro and Daviess County, pick up a few of the burgers in competition, and then bring them back to the office for judgment. SPOILER ALERT: Matt and company haven't met a burger they didn't like. Needless to say, the prep work has begun.

Burger Week Criteria

When judging Burger Week burgers, Matt and his team use three criteria...presentation, flavor, and intent. The first two are self-explanatory. With regard to "intent," Matt is looking to compare the burger to how it's presented. In other words, does the flavor accurately match the description?
