A Chance to Give Back in a Big Way

If you’ve been looking for a meaningful way to give back here in the Evansville area, this is a perfect opportunity to jump in and make a real difference. There is a community playground build that is happening now and they are asking for YOU to help.

A big volunteer effort is underway this weekend at the GRANTED House of Hope, where a brand-new playground is being built for local children. This isn’t just any playground, it’s being created especially for local Wish children and other at-risk kids who deserve a safe, fun place to play and just enjoy being kids.

The build is happening now and runs through Sunday evening, so there’s still plenty of time to get involved.

No Experience Needed, Just Show Up

One of the best parts about this project is how easy it is to participate. GRANTED is inviting both skilled and unskilled volunteers to help out. You don’t need construction experience or special tools just a willingness to lend a hand and be part of something positive and believe me it will make you smile.

There’s no need to sign up ahead of time either. It’s simple: if you’ve got some free time, just show up and join in.

Volunteers Get a Few Perks, Too

Of course, they’re making sure volunteers feel appreciated. If you come out to help, meals will be provided, and you’ll even get a free T-shirt as a thank-you for your time and effort.

Where to Go

The playground build is taking place at:

Building More Than Just a Playground

This project is about more than swings and slides, it’s about creating a space filled with joy, support, and community spirit. The GRANTED House of Hope has already made a big impact for families in the area, and this playground is another way the community is stepping up to support children who need it most.

So if you’re able, consider stopping by before the weekend wraps up. Bring a friend, bring the family, and be part of something that’s going to leave a lasting impact right here at home.
