Bluegrass Legends Experience – Where Cars, Community & Cause Collide

Last year, the streets of Owensboro roared to life with hundreds of antique cars, hot rods, muscle cars, jeeps, and bikes for the 2nd Annual Bluegrass Legends Experience Car Show. From delicious food and live music to stunning vintage vehicles and family fun, there was truly something for everyone. The event was a huge success, bringing the community together and raising funds for a great cause, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. This year, even bigger things are planned!

2024 Bluegrass Legends Experience Car Show Donation

Jimmy, Janie, and Sue made a heartfelt stop at the St. Jude Radiothon earlier in the year to present a generous donation on behalf of the Bluegrass Legends Experience and Bluegrass Biker News. Their passion for helping others, especially the children at St. Jude, shines through in everything they do. They understand the power of giving back!

Thanks to the combined efforts of the Bluegrass Legends Experience Car Show and the St. Jude Fall Festival, an incredible $28,000 was raised for St. Jude!

The Biggest Car Show of the Summer is Almost Here!

Plan to head to the Owensboro Sports Center and Moreland Park for a weekend of family fun from August 15th through the 17th, 2025! The streets of Owensboro will come alive with hundreds of antique cars, hot rods, muscle cars, jeeps, and bikes as the much-anticipated Bluegrass Legends Experience rolls back into town.

Whether you're looking to enjoy some delicious food from local food trucks, listen to live music, browse unique vendors, show off your classic car, or admire some of the best vintage vehicles around, there’s something for everyone at this event.

It’s a celebration for car lovers and families alike, and best of all, proceeds will benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, supporting their mission to help children and families in need. Don’t miss out on one of the biggest and most meaningful events of the summer!

"The Legends Car Show OBKY Event is a gathering of individuals who share a passion for motorsports/music/food, and supporting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN. The event brings together people interested in the vehicles and shares the lifestyle of motorsports enthusiasts. The event features all types/styles of custom vehicles, music fans, and foodies who love the food truck network."

WBKR will be on-site broadcasting live during this ultimate car show experience.

The event is open to anyone interested in attending as a spectator at no charge.
