Indiana’s Best All-You-Can-Eat Spot is Not at All What You’d Expect
A few things come to mind when I think about all-you-can-eat restaurants. My brain automatically thinks about either Golden Corral or any number of interchangeable Chinese buffet restaurants. I also just assume (incorrectly) that any place like this will be toward the bottom end of the restaurant spectrum when it comes to cost and quality.

I will be the first to admit that I don't give the category of food enough credit. I was glad to see someone give the buffet genre its flowers. LoveFood.com shared a list of the best all-you-can-eat restaurants in each state, and the choice for Indiana caught me completely off guard. I know you're curious about how the selections were made - LoveFood uses "genuine user reviews, awards and accolades, and the first-hand experience of our team."
Indiana's Best All-You-Can-Eat Spot is Not at All What You'd Expect
Before I tell you what the selection for Indiana is, I'm gonna tell you a couple of things it is NOT. The Hoosier state's best all-you-can-eat restaurant is NOT located in Indianapolis (most "best of" places are). It's also NOT a Chinese buffet or a Golden Corral-style restaurant.
Indiana's best buffet can be found at INDIA GARDEN (yes, it's an Indian restaurant) located in Bloomington. Here's what LoveFood had to say about it...
India Garden has a sizeable à la carte menu, as well as a lunch buffet that’s favored among locals. The changing all-you-can-eat offering includes tempting vegan options such as the spicy fried cauliflower dish, gobi Manchurian, and moreish spinach pakoras. Tandoori chicken, goat curry, and paneer tikka masala often make an appearance too.

I don't know about you, but I'm always curious if these "best of" selections are actually worth the hype. So, the next time you're gonna pass through Bloomington, make sure you do it at lunchtime and allow enough time to stop and fill up at India Garden and find out for yourself.
