Now Open: Southern Indiana’s First Mobile Gym for Dogs
I have a confession...Both of my pups are 'Over-treated'. That is my polite way of saying that they could lose a couple of pounds. Okay, the vet might've said she couldn't feel their ribs. Fun fact, I can't feel mine either. If you are having a similar situation with your dog, there is a new business that could help us out.
Meet the Masterminds
Tyler and Alexis Kneer, are a passionate couple with a love for animals, fitness, and adventure (including their hiking pug, Mr. Ricky Ricardo!). They understand the importance of keeping our furry friends happy and healthy, and The Running Lab is their way to share that passion with the Evansville community.
This is Not a Treadmill
This innovative mobile unit brings the gym to your home, complete with non-motorized slatmills that adapt to your dog's pace and build muscle like no walk in the park can. Plus, it's climate-controlled, so your pup can exercise comfortably year-round, rain or shine.
But why not just take my dog for a run outside?
The Running Lab's slatmills offer unique advantages:
- Increased resistance: Burns more calories and builds muscle faster than a leisurely stroll.
- Controlled environment: Ensures safety and eliminates distractions, making exercise more efficient.
- Personalized attention: Certified trainers guide your dog through progressive stages, maximizing results.

Pricing and Info:
You can start out with a $50 trial run, and see if this is something that would benefit your dog. Then they offer different pricing for multiple workouts and monthly runs.
Sidenote, I didn't ask if they have a human option...But maybe that's something to think about!
