Over the weekend, I received my absentee ballot in the mail.  With the Kentucky Primary Election just a couple of weeks away, the Kentucky Nonprofit Network is working to make sure that Kentuckians know the various ways to cast their votes this summer.  Here's a look at the official timeline with key dates and deadlines.

Of course, this primary, due to COVID-19 concerns, there will be just one polling place open in Owensboro-Daviess County.  For reference, we typically have over 80 precincts functional in the county.  However, in a couple of weeks, everyone wishing to cast their vote in person will be asked to report to the Owensboro Sportscenter.

There's one other way to cast your vote in person.  You can actually vote in person now via absentee voting at the Daviess County Clerk's Office.

However, as you can see, the Daviess County Clerk's Office says "Mailing your ballot is the best option."  If you'd like to do what I did and request an absentee ballot, it's quick and easy.  You can do so by CLICKING HERE!
