Howdy Partner! I’m OLIVER, the Pet of the Week from It Takes a Village!
Not every dog can pull off the straw hat look, but our Thursday Pet of the Week sure can. This is OLIVER, and he's ready for adoption from It Takes a Village.
OLIVER is a senior Jack Russell Terrier mix (he's 12 going on 2) that weighs about 15 pounds. Our friends at It Takes a Village tell us that OLIVER is a happy fella who loves to be with his person. OLIVER is great on a leash and still has a lot of pep in his step. Like the picture above, OLIVER smiles a lot, and he knows how to SIT and SHAKE.
ITV says that older kids are fine but OLIVER's forever home shouldn't have any young children who haven't learned how to respect a pet yet. OLIVER would love to schedule a meet and greet with you and any possible fur siblings.
OLIVER's adoption fee is $200. If you're interested, go ahead and fill out an online adoption application. Not interested in adopting? How about fostering a pet? Fostering is free at It Takes a Village.
And as always, if our pet of the week isn’t the right fit for your home, please visit It Takes a Village to see the other rescues that need to get fostered and adopted. Keep in mind that It Takes a Village is still in need of fosters for mommas and litters. It's puppy season at ITV.
All of the animals at ITV are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, spayed or neutered and FIV/FeLV-tested.
ITV is open during regular hours. However, they have received so much support and interest over shut down, that they are still working diligently to review all correspondences. They appreciate everyone’s patience as they find the best matches for their rescues.
