Here’s The Scoop About How To Donate Online For EVSC Hangers

Last week, you might've seen a life-size ice cream cone on Green River Road. That was me, Liberty! Bobby and I are on a mission to collect donations for Hangers EVSC Clothing Resource.

We will be scooping ice cream for tips Thursday, September 12, 2019 from 3:00 P.M - 3:30 P.M at Baskin Robbins on South Green River Road. That is not a lot of time to raise money. So, we are finding ways to collect donations before next week. Aside from our costume stunt, we are also accepting donations online. When you make your donation, please fill in the  'Additional Comments' with our names:

Hangers is a clothing resource committed to serving EVSC students in need by providing them every-day living essentials that would otherwise be unaffordable. By providing clothing, school supplies, and hygiene products, we strive to improve the self-esteem and confidence of each student served, and in turn, ensure greater student success and fulfillment.

In 2017, Hangers and the EVSC Foundation began a partnership. Because both groups share a common mission and values, Hangers now operates with the EVSC Foundation to continue serving students.

Hangers serves any EVSC student in need, with recommendation from a school counselor or principal and social worker. Once we receive a student’s service form, we set up an appointment for a visit to Hangers. EVSC-approved volunteers transport students to our facility.
