From fries to fundraising - this is going to be a delicious way to support students in Southern Indiana. Locally owned McDonald's restaurants are teaming up for a one-day, city-wide giveback for the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation (EVSC) Foundation. The foundation's mission is to support high-quality learning experiences that help more than 22,000 students across the EVSC’s 40 schools.

The EVSC Foundation's Director of Development, Emily Wilderman, says...

EVSC Foundation is beyond thrilled to partner with our local McDonald’s owners for this fundraiser. It is partnerships like these that help us continue our mission to empower all students to thrive. The money raised will be used to help provide world-class learning experiences for EVSC students and address needs (clothing, classroom supplies, etc.) that can interfere with learning.

Fundraiser Details

Make plans now to visit an Evansville area McDonald's restaurant on Tuesday, April 18, from 7am-7pm. That is the window when a percentage of all sales on the McDonald’s app will go toward the EVSC Foundation. Here is the most important detail of all (that's why I'm putting it in all caps and italicized) - PURCHASES MUST BE MADE THROUGH THE MCDONALD'S APP FOR THIS FUNDRAISER.

I have the McDonald's app and I use it all of the time. Seriously, you can find some really good deals in the app, which you can download here, or use the QR code below.

Programs the EVSC Foundation Supports

The EVSC Foundation does a lot for students and schools - you probably didn't realize that the foundation was involved in all of these programs.

  • Hangers
  • Educator Grants
  • Teacher Locker
  • Summer Musical and Children’s Theater
  • Student Response Fund

Now you know why it is so important to keep raising funds.
