Guy Fieri Isnt Just a Celebrity Chef, Hes Also Friends With Matthew McConaughey
It's no secret that I'm slightly obsessed with Guy Fieri. My favorite show is Triple G, I've traveled to Louisville just to eat at his Smokehouse, on my birthday, and try a restaurant featured on Triple D. We have even started a tradition of taking pics of our guests with a Guy cardboard cutout. And yes, we tag him on Insta. Wednesday was a pretty big day for Guy and his fans, because he got his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame!
Guy's personality is just so infectious! Doug and I watched the season he won Next Food Network Star in 2006. He's not just a wild dude that likes to sample food. In addition to being a New York Times bestselling-author, Emmy Award-winning television host and executive producer, Guy owns 63 restaurants. All of that is awesome, but his compassion and caring is what really sets Guy apart (Although some may say it's his hair)
He fed the California firefighters, First Responders and victims of the 2017 wildfires, alongside the Salvation Army. Guy's sister passed away from cancer, so Make - a - Wish is very close to his heart. He actually invites a Make - a - Wish family to each of his tv show tapings. Not to be outdone...Guy also has his own charity! Cooking with Kids has helped over 20,000 kids learn their way around the kitchen since 2010.
Friend and fan, Matthew McConaughey had some really nice things to say about Guy Fieri.
Family remains number 1 in his life, as his son Hunter says in the video, "They've never gone hungry" LOL! Seriously, hearing his son talk about him will make you tear up.
