Guy Fieri Has Visited Nine Indiana Restaurants But None of Them are His Favorite

It seems almost criminal that Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives has only featured nine Indiana restaurants. First of all, that number needs to increase. Second, is it possible for Guy Fieri to choose just 1 restaurant as his favorite?

As the world's self-proclaimed most passionate fan of Chef Guy Fieri, you could ask me pretty much anything about him or even his family, and I probably know the answer.

I am the proud owner of Guy Fieri's New York Times best-selling book More Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. Inside the book, Guy and his Triple D crew talk about how the show is put together and he answers some of the questions that he is asked all of the time.

So, what is the number one question that everyone asks Guy? 'What's your favorite diner, drive-in, or dive? Here is a direct quote from The Mayor of Flavortown:

"IMPOSSIBLE. That's like asking what was your favorite day of your life! There's not just a dish, location, or person. I'm happy I'm not able to define one of them as my favorite; that would make it hard to continue on with the show."

Guy Fieri has been filming episodes of Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives since 2007. The Food Network show is now in its 36th season. That is a lot of restaurants featured, a lot of plates sampled, and a lot of pressure on chefs.

Mashed has taken the liberty of choosing one restaurant from each state, and calling it 'The Best'. The article does start with a disclaimer, but that is easily overlooked.

Spoiler Alert: Guy Fieri does not have a favorite Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives location in every state.
