GUAPO is an Adoptable Indiana Pitty Looking for a Loving Forever Home
This handsome old fella is our Thursday Pet of the Week from It Takes a Village. His name is GUAPO, which literally means "good-looking, handsome, and/or pretty." I think it's a perfect fit!
GUAPO is a senior Pitty with over eight years of life experience. He's definitely a big boy, weighing in at 70 pounds, but he is certainly done growing and is certainly set in his ways.
GUAPO was a transfer from a partner shelter where he lived and played with other dogs. He is currently in a foster home and is doing well. His foster says,
He is doing great with our dog Bella, another pit mix. They read each other's body language very well. He uses our doggie door when available or holds it until we're home and hasn't had an accident since the first day. I leave him in a room when away from home and he also willingly enters a crate. He loves belly rubs and just has a really good temperament.
Don't you think that GUAPO deserves a forever home? Would you like to meet him? Fill out an online adoption application, and then you can schedule a meet and greet with GUAPO.
All of the animals at ITV are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, and FIV/FeLV-tested.
If our pet of the week isn’t the right fit for your home, please visit It Takes a Village to see the other rescues that need to get fostered and adopted. And don't forget about their RENT A DOG Program. A quick fill form and copy of your photo ID will allow you time out with one of ITV's vetted shelter dogs. These day dates are great for the rescues - it gets them some exercise and new information to help us get them adopted. It’s been a big hit- so don’t miss out!
