How much stuff did you decide you didn’t want when you did your spring cleaning?  With more time to get that accomplished this year, I’d say a lot.  Luckily, you can now do something with all those boxes in your living room.  Goodwill has re-opened five stores and donation centers in Evansville.  They are:

  • 500 South Green River Road, Evansville
  • 1820 First Avenue, Evansville
  • 4660 West Lloyd Expressway, Evansville
  • 1540 Willow Street, Vincennes
  • 3215 West Broadway Princeton

It has also been announced that four mobile donation centers will be opened today:

  • 3501 North Green River Road, Evansville
  • 1820 First Avenue, Evansville
  • 8399 Bell Oaks Drive, Newburgh
  • 2655 North 6th Street, Vincennes

More retail and donations centers are set to reopen on Friday, May 8 in Evansville, Boonville, Washington, Jasper and Tell City.  Locations in Illinois and Kentucky, however, will remain closed since the Stay-at-Home orders have not been lifted in those states.

Obviously, there will be different protocols to the re-openings than what we are used to. This includes stores being open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., plexiglass barriers all of the registers, all employees wearing PPEs and markings to ensure you keep your social distance.
