Shouldn't there always be some sort of assumed risk of injury when you're scraping razor blades across your skin? Sure, but in this case, even the most careful user could still end up getting cut. The official reason for the recall is because "a problem during manufacturing resulted in the misalignment of the blades in the razors, posing a higher risk of cuts during normal use."

The following razors are affected by this recall

  • Venus Simply3” – 4 count pack razors
  • Daisy 12 + 1 Venus Simply3 razors

These razors were sold nationwide from January 2019-May 2019. Get all of the product details here. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Venus Simply3 razors and contact Gillette to receive a postage-paid return label to return the razors and receive a voucher for a replacement.
