Evansville Teacher Uses Viral Idea to Keep Virus Out of Classroom
Personal hygiene and hand washing are top of mind these days. Many of us are questioning how clean our hands really are. Laura Clark is using a viral idea, to reduce the germs in her classroom.
The first graders in Mrs. Clark's classroom at Oak Hill elementary have an extra incentive to keep washing their hands. Every morning, they get their hand stamped with her personal stamper. If the ink is all washed away by the end of the day, the students receive a treat.
It appears to be working. With an incentive like Hershey Kisses or Fruit by the Foot, I would probably scrub a little longer, too.
