The Evansville Otters are right in a dog fight with the Southern Illinois Miners for first place in the Frontier League East Division, and will continue their push toward the playoffs with home stand against the Boomers beginning Friday.

As of this writing, the Otters are one game out of the division lead currently held by the Miners, making every game critical over the final few weeks of the season.

Currently on the road taking on the Rockford Aviators (currently tied with the Normal Cornbelters for the West Division lead), the Otters begin their three-game home stand against Schaumburg Friday night with first pitch scheduled for 6:35 p.m. The game will also feature an Amazon Kindle giveaway.

Saturday night's game is special as it's the Otters annual Breast Cancer Awareness Night. Fans are encouraged to wear pink to show their support for the cause and honor those affected by breast cancer. Fans are encouraged to stick around after the game for post-game fireworks. First pitch Saturday is scheduled also scheduled for 6:35 p.m.

The series finale on Sunday is set for a 5:05 p.m. start.

Tickets for all three games are available at the Bosse Field ticket office and online through the team's website.
