Evansville Indiana’s Longest Street Sale Will Offer Free Flowers for Mother’s Day
The Downtown Evansville Sidewalk Sale is returning for its sixth year and it's shaping up to be the biggest one yet!
Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 11th, from 9 am to 2 pm because Main Street (from 2nd to Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd) is about to be transformed into a shopping extravaganza! We're talking over 120+ vendors, including local businesses, talented makers, creative entrepreneurs, and even your neighbors with some hidden treasures to unload.
Here's what you can expect:
- Endless Shopping: From unique handmade crafts to amazing deals from your favorite downtown stores, you're guaranteed to find something special (or maybe a whole lot of somethings!).
- Free Mother's Day Fun: Show some love to the moms (or mother figures!) in your life with a beautiful free carnation (while supplies last!). There will also be a floral arch for those perfect Instagram-worthy moments. (Find both at Innovation Pointe, 318 Main Street)
- Live Music: Get your groove on while you shop with live music performances happening all along Main Street.
- Fuel Up & Relax: No shopping spree is complete without some yummy eats! Food trucks Bruce Li and Little Jimmy's Italian Ice will be there to keep your energy levels up, and don't forget about all the amazing restaurants lining the street.
Public restrooms will be conveniently located at the corner of Fourth and Main Streets, so you can shop without a worry.
This event is all about supporting our local businesses and community, so come out and celebrate Mother's Day weekend in Downtown Evansville.
