Evansville, IN Nonprofit Borrowed Hearts Wins $25,000 Grant From State Farm Neighborhood Assist
Back in April, we told you about the amazing grant that Borrowed Hearts had a chance to win. All you had to do was vote for them, and boy did you come through.
What is State Farm Neighborhood Assist?
State Farm is much more than just their clever Jake commercials. Every year The State Farm Neighborhood Assist program provides vital funds to nonprofit organizations across the country. This year, State Farm awarded 100 different charities $25,000 each.
Indiana Loves Supporting Community
Indiana is in the top 5 states that received awards. Ohio just edged us out, but number two out of fifty is pretty amazing. The public was able to have a voice in which organizations deserved the $25,000. The number one reason that the majority of them were chosen was for their community support.
And The Winner Is...
Borrowed Hearts Foundation is one of the 100 deserving organizations to receive a $25,000 grant. “State Farm is excited to see an incredible nonprofit organization in our community receiving this tremendous support. The voting was nationwide, yet Borrowed Hearts supporters made it happen for Evansville and the surrounding region! We are blessed to secure $25,000 in funding that ultimately supports our community’s kids.” Amy Higgs, State Farm Agent
