Evansville Icemen May Relocate to Owensboro

I'd heard rumors that the Evansville Icemen might be leaving Evansville but I had no idea they might just be moving 40 some-odd miles to the east.

Let me emphasize MIGHT.

Owensboro is in negotiations to have the hockey team relocate here and make the Owensboro Sportscenter its home arena.

I love it!

First the Kentucky Mavericks and now--POSSIBLY--the Evansville Iceman.

Again, it's in negotiations, but my fingers are crossed.
