Seeing another Dollar General pop up out of nowhere might freak you out a little bit. One day, there was a quiet residential area with an open lot, and the next - A Dollar General sign appeared. But, this DG store is different than the other ones. So different, in fact, we might find this one to be extremely convenient.

There are nineteen Dollar General stores in Evansville. That equals around 6,100 people per Dollar General store. Soon that number of stores will be twenty. There are plans for another Dollar General Store near the Deaconess Sports Park.

This DG is Different

The outside of the new Dollar General is noticeably different than the giant yellow we are used to. Once the DG Market opens, I think it's going to really be an asset to people who live in Northern Vanderburgh County.

Dollar General Market and DG Market formats offer expanded produce, refrigerated and frozen food offerings, dairy products and more, in addition to an assortment of fresh meats, alongside the general merchandise customers trust Dollar General to provide.
