Busch Stadium will Transform Into a Golf Course for 3 Days in Nov
One of America's most beautiful ballparks will be transformed into a golf lovers dream, November 1, 2019 - November 3, 2019. StadiumLinks is bringing a one-of-a-kind experience to the home of the St. Louis Cardinals. This sounds really cool, but how in the world do you play golf in a baseball stadium? Stadium Links uses a unique scoring format that is different than traditional golf. There will be nine locations throughout the stadium with your score at each determined by the accuracy of your tee shot. The player’s score at each hole is determined by how close the golf ball lands relative to the target flag (hole). This event is sold out, but you can get on a waiting list here.
On April 10, 2006, the Cardinals opened their new 46,000 seat retro-style downtown ballpark with a 6-4 win over the Milwaukee Brewers. The Cardinals also became the first team in almost 100 years to win a World Series Championship in the inaugural season of a new ballpark. The new Busch Stadium hosted the 80th MLB All-Star Game, in July 2009.
