Be MY Guest – Reitz High School Presents ‘Little Shop of Horrors’
One of my all-time favorite musicals is being brought to life by the talented students from the F.J. Reitz High School theatre department, and I couldn't be more excited!
We invited a couple of the cast members of Little Shop of Horrors to Be MY Guest on the MY Morning Show. We were joined by Tristen Kendal, who is the voice you'll hear coming from the giant plant Audrey II...and Trey Schellenberg, who plays one of best characters in the musical - Dr. Orin Scrivello, DDS. Together, with Ben Gollaher as Seymour and Malea Plough as Audrey, they will tell the story of the plant from outer space that has a taste for human blood. It sounds pretty morbid, I know, but it's a fun story with some amazing music.

I just assumed that just about everyone, even those who haven't seen the movie, at least knew what the story is about. I should have known that Liberty had no idea. Haha! What did Liberty think Little Shop of Horrors was about? Listen to our interview with Tristen and Trey to hear for yourself (right about the 1:56 mark).
Tristen and Trey were also kind enough to give us just a little snippet of a couple songs from the production. First, it's Trisen with a just a taste (get it?) of 'Feed Me (Git It!).'
And now Trey with a bit of the song made so famous by the legendary Steve Martin...it's 'Dentist.'
