Meet PRINCESS the Friendly Cat Ready for Adoption at VHS
The Vanderburgh Humane Society (VHS) in Evansville has pets of all shapes and sizes. Or, as Executive Director, Kendall Paul likes to say when she stops by the studio on Thursdays, "all makes and models, and all certified pre-owned." They also have them of all ages, from puppies and kittens that are weeks old to dogs and cats that have been around for a while. So there is an excellent likelihood that the VHS will have a pet that fits your lifestyle!
Meet Our VHS Pet of the Week
Meet Princess, a 2-year-old domestic shorthair who's ready to rule your heart and your home! This regal feline is not just a pretty face; she’s the ultimate ambassador, always the first to greet you at the door with soft purrs and an irresistible charm.
@my105.3 This is PRINCESS, our @vhslifesaver Pet of the Week. Can you give her a loving forever home? #adoptdontdshop #adoptacat ♬ Cat's tail - Sheena.I
When she's not busy charming her subjects, Princess enjoys the finer things in life, like catnip, ping-pong balls, and people-watching. She would love nothing more than a throne with a view - a cozy perch and a window to the outside world. Her adoption fee is $100, and if you’re prepared to give her the royal treatment, then Princess would be delighted to grace your home with her presence.
More About the Vanderburgh Humane Society
The VHS was founded in 1957 to provide protection for homeless animals, intervention for animals in abusive environments, and community education to encourage prevention of animal abuse and pet overpopulation. Located in Evansville, Indiana, the VHS serves as a surrender and adoption agency for unwanted pets. The VHS receives no tax-based funding whatsoever. Therefore, it depends on the generosity of the corporate community and the public at large to continue, and hopefully expand, the much-needed services it offers.
