Our pet of the week from It Takes a Village is a sweet 5-year-old Pyrenees mix named ZURI. She was originally found as a stray in Spencer County - but now she's at ITV in Evansville and she is looking for a loving forever home.

ZURI is a gentle girl who loves a good long walk and would make a wonderful companion for someone looking to add a loyal and affectionate dog to their family. If you would like to meet ZURI and possibly welcome her into your home, visit ITVrescue.org to fill out an online adoption application.

All the animals at It Takes a Village are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested, and treated if necessary.
