Summer came pretty quickly following a very cool Spring here in the TriState area. Air conditioners have been running non-stop and gas usage for vacations usually increases over the summer months.

According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration, the highest energy consumption of the year is recorded in July, followed by August. That leads to higher energy costs during this period.
