What do You Like to Wear but Always Get Judged for it? (Survey)

The only reason I am bringing this up is that yesterday, I did some long-overdue clothes shopping.  One thing you need to know for starts is I am a terrible shopper for a couple of different reasons.  One, I hate spending money.  I look at something I really like for about ten minutes contemplating on buying it or not.  After ten minutes, I have usually talked myself out of buying it because, well, money.

The other reason I am terrible at shopping is that I am color blind.  Trying to find things that match stresses me out.  Plus, it makes me feel stupid.  So, why are we even talking about this right now?  Well, that’s because whenever I do go clothes shopping, I have to take my fiancé with me.  She helps me pick out my clothes and helps me find colors that I can actually wear.

The other reason she comes with me is that she needs to make sure I don’t pick out anything that she (or anyone else for that matter) doesn’t like.  For example, I like to wear cardigans.  Yes, those are usually reserved for college professors in the 1950s.  However, I think they look great and are super cozy.  So, if am going to buy one it needs to get the Heidi stamp of approval.

Another thing that I like is the old flat caps.  You know, the ones that were popular with paperboys back in the 30s.  I have an old sense of style, okay?  Unfortunately, these will never, I repeat never, get that Heidi stamp of approval.  Which is sad.  I love wearing the one I have but never get to wear it because she HAAATES.  I just want nothing more than to be able to wear my cardigan and my flat cap without being judged.  Is that too much to ask?  Apparently so.
