Welcome Baby Parker to Deb’s Family

My newest grandson was born last Tuesday, April 2nd.  He's healthy and alert, cries loudly, and is simply doing what most babies do!   

My daughter, Jaclyn gave birth to Parker Everett Brattain last Tuesday morning by cesarean section at Community Health Hospital in Indy.  He weighed 8 lbs. 3.8 oz.; 20 3/4 in length.

She and Parker are doing very well!  She's moving around slowly after surgery but with each day she's getting stronger and better.  Parker's vocal quality seemed to improve by day 3 or 4 and so did his appetite!

He's so adorable with a head full of dark brown hair - just like Jaclyn's when she was born.

While Jaclyn was in the hospital, I had lots of time to spend with my other grandson, Roman who is 20 months old.  I had sooo much fun playing all day long with him and singing "Baby Shark DooDooDooDoo" and Mickey Mouse and Sesame Street songs, playing with his stacking blocks, and other toys.  By 8 pm, I was pooped!  lol  Brings back memories when my own 2 were little and only 15 months apart.

Being a grandparent is the BEST feeling ever!  I'm a blessed Nana!
