Weekend Events For You And Your Family: May 12-14
There are a bunch of great events/activities to do this weekend in the Tri-State. Here a few options for you and your family.
- What: Tomorrow. May 13, Mended Little Hearts will be walking for all of the babies, children, teens, and adults who have been affected by a congenital heart defect.
- When: Saturday,May13,2017• 8:00–Noon
- Where: Burette Park, Pavilion
- FREE EVENT: Registration begins at 8 o'clock with the walk starting at 9 o'clock. After our 1 mile walk we will enjoy a fun family day of activities. Please make sure to bring your family's registration form.
A performance that captures the common American childhood setting: the home and the yard, the television set, holidays and travels, and many other aspects of growing up in the U.S., through both stand up and theater.
- What: “The Littlest Mermaid”
- When: 3 p.m. Saturday
- Where: Aiken Theatre
- Tickets: $12 in advance and $15 the day of the performance at the door, online at childdance.org or by calling 812-421-8066.
- What: Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra presents “Raiders of the Lost Ark”
- When: 7 p.m. Saturday, 2 p.m. Sunday
- Where: The Victory
- Tickets: $35 and up for adults and children’s tickets start at $25. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Philharmonic Box Office at 812-425-5050 or by ordering online at evansvillephilharmonic.org. Student Rush tickets are $10 at the Sixth Street entrance with a valid student ID or with a parent one hour before each concert. Members of club2030 can purchase up to two tickets for $25 each, online only, before 3 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. Sunday. See the website for more details.
- What: Evansville Ballet Theatre presents “Snow White and the Woodsmen”
- When: 7 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday
- Where: AIS Diamond Auditorium (Old North High School), 2319 Stringtown Road
- Tickets: Adults $20, children $12 and can be purchased on snowhite2017.brownpapertickets.com, by phone at 800-838-3006, or at the door.
- What: Wonder Bread Years presented by former “Seinfeld” writer Pat Hazell
- When: 7 p.m. Friday
- Where: Preston Fine Arts Center in Henderson, Kentucky
- Tickets are still available and are $29 and $24 for adults, $12 for college students with ID and $10 for ages 18 and younger. Tickets are available online at haaa.org or by calling the box office at 270-831-9800.
