Evansville Regional Airport (EVV) will host a temporary TSA PreCheck Enrollment Center from Tuesday, February 11, 2025, through Friday, February 14, 2025, providing easy access to this expedited screening program.

What is TSA PreCheck?

TSA PreCheck® is a trusted traveler program that allows enrolled passengers to breeze through security with fewer hassles. Participants can keep their shoes, belts, and light jackets on, leave their laptops and TSA-compliant liquids in their bags, and enjoy a faster, stress-free security process. More than 200 airports and dozens of airlines nationwide participate in TSA PreCheck, with 99% of members waiting 10 minutes or less at security checkpoints.

How to Enroll at Evansville Regional Airport

The temporary enrollment center will be set up across from the ticket counter at EVV. To enroll, travelers should:

  1. Pre-enroll online at tsa.gov/precheck.
  2. Select "Evansville, IN" and choose the "Pop Up: EVV, 2/11-2/14" location.
  3. Choose an appointment time from the drop-down menu.
  4. Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are encouraged.

The enrollment center will be open from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

What to Bring

Applicants must provide fingerprints, proof of citizenship or legal residency, and a $78 fee for a five-year membership. To find out which documents to bring, visit the Universal Enroll website.

Get Your Known Traveler Number (KTN)

Once approved, enrollees will receive a Known Traveler Number (KTN) via U.S. mail. This number should be added to airline reservations for seamless access to TSA PreCheck lanes. Travelers can also store their KTN in their frequent flyer profiles for future bookings.
