This Has Been Named the Best Hidden Gem in Indiana
Indiana is home to countless unique, odd, and breathtaking locations. However, one location, in particular, was recently named Indiana's "Best Hidden Gem".
You may think you know about all of the cool travel destinations in Indiana, but do you really? There are a lot of "hidden gems" in Indiana that locals might know about, but if you aren't from that town, you might not be aware of them. I found an article from the travel team at Reader's Digest, where they listed the 'Best Hidden Gem' in each of the 50 states. When it comes to Indiana, it is a location I have been to a few times. It's a location that is not too far from my hometown and folks from Southern Indiana will know all about it.

What is Indiana's Best Hidden Gem?
According to Reader's Digest, the best hidden gem in Indiana can be found in New Harmony. The town itself was originally built as a utopia in 1814. It's a small town in southern Indiana with a lot of history. New Harmony offers visitors and residents a remarkable range of experiences: art galleries, museum exhibitions, professional summer theatre, guided tours of historic properties, a winter concert series, festivals, unique shopping and dining in a beautiful, walkable community, plus Harmonie State Park is located just south of town. One of those historic properties was named as the best hidden gem in Indiana. What is it? Well, it's the Roofless Church.
Here's what Reader's Digest says:
It’s fitting that this <a href="https://robertleeblafferfoundation.org/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" data-name="robertleeblafferfoundation.org/" data-module="content engagement" data-position="embedded links">church</a>, or open park, exists in a town partly called harmony. The interfaith church is open to the public and is maintained by the Robert Lee Balffer Foundation. Although it does, in fact, have a roof, it is really a protective cover for a sculpture by Jacques Lipchitz.
