Here’s Why Taylor Swift and These Other Stars Won’t Be at the 2019 Grammys
The 2019 Grammys are less than one week away, and while most stars can't wait to attend music's biggest night, there are some A-lister who won't be making an appearance at all.
Entertainment Tonight reports that Taylor Swift is the latest celebrity to reveal that she won't be attending the Grammy Awards—and it's because she's too busy filming the movie adaptation of Cats in London. Despite earning a nomination for Best Pop Vocal Album, she's decided to forgo her invitation, which is heartbreaking for Swifties who were hoping she'd walk the red carpet with boyfriend Joe Alywn for the first time.
Ariana Grande also pulled out after reports surfaced that she was "insulted" when producers would not allow her to perform “7 Rings.” Beyoncé may be a no-show too since her husband Jay-Z's album Everything is Love was snubbed and it's been confirmed that Bradley Cooper won't be there to support Lady Gaga because he'll be at the BAFTA Awards in London, where A Star Is Born is nominated for Best Film and Best Director. Meanwhile, Drake and Kanye West have both publicly criticized the awards in the past so we can probably expect them to skip out as well.
The 61st Annual Grammys Awards air this Sunday, Feb. 10, at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
