Oh, the things I do for the job.

Whenever we're on site for an Evansville IceMen home game, part of our deal is to host, or be some part of, the activities that take place on the ice during both intermissions. Sometimes it means standing against the boards giving everyone the green light to chuck their pucks, or calling a wrestling match between two people dressed in those padded Sumo Suits.

Then you have those times where the people in charge of the intermission entertainment ask you to actually participate in the activity, which is exactly what happened last Saturday night during the Evansville IceMen's home game against Toledo when I slipped into an inflatable hamster ball and race two other fans on the ice.

This isn't my first go-around participating in some on-ice festivities. Let's not forget last year's tricycle race.

I'm afraid to ask what they might ask me to do next, but chances are, whatever it is, I'll jump right in.
