Beloved Eyewitness News meteorologist, Ron Rhodes enjoyed a few seconds of fame during Monday night's episode of the The Daily Show with Trevor Noah. It's probably not the way he would have preferred to appear on the show, but he was on there nonetheless.

Someone who goes by the name "Great American" on Twitter caught Ron's appearance during a short video segment the show called "Terrible Irish Accents." The video montage featured quick clips of news people around the country attempting to pull off Irish accents while they discussed St. Patrick's Day. Ron's appearance came from a chat he and Jake Boswell had during Monday's edition of Eyewitness News Daybreak. If you can't sit through the entire :28 second video, Ron's appearance takes place around the :24 second mark.

Not exactly the way you want to make your national TV debut, but in true Ron fashion, he made the best of it during Tuesday morning's Eyewitness News Daybreak.

Regardless of what The Daily Show thinks, we love ya', Ron! You do you.

(For what it's worth, I did e-mail Ron to make sure he was OK with us sharing this. I didn't want him to think we were piling on if he was genuinely embarrassed about the situation, and he was totally cool with it. Don't "at" me.)
