I’ve Always Wanted To Be Better At Dancing

One thing I have always wanted to get better at is dancing. It’s one of those things that follows you everywhere in life. Weddings, parties, receptions, concerts, even random nights out with friends somehow end up turning into a dance floor situation. And every single time, there’s always that one couple that absolutely nails it.

You know exactly who I’m talking about too.

They somehow know every dance. One minute they’re doing the salsa, the next minute they’re spinning around doing the jitterbug like they’ve been practicing for years. Their feet are perfectly in rhythm and they move together so effortlessly that you can tell they’ve danced together a hundred times before. Meanwhile I’m over here trying to figure out where my arms are supposed to go.

Evansville Has Something Perfect For Couples

Now, I’m not getting married anytime soon and I definitely don’t have a dance partner lined up at the moment, and honestly, I’m okay with that. But if you are in a relationship and want to get prepared for wedding season or just want to try something fun together, Evansville actually has something pretty cool.

The River City Bop Dance Club hosts beginner dance lessons every Wednesday at the Eagles in Evansville. All you have to do is show up with your partner, bring your dancing shoes, and be ready to learn.

They teach dances like the cha-cha and other ballroom favorites, and from what I’ve heard, it’s a super welcoming environment for beginners. No pressure and no experience needed.

More Than Just Dance Lessons

The best part honestly might be the social side of it. After lessons, they open the dance floor up from 7:30 to 9:30 so everyone can practice, hang out, and just have fun. It sounds like one of those hidden gem activities that gets you out of the house and trying something different.

And who knows. The next time wedding season rolls around, you could end up being that couple everyone stops and watches on the dance floor. To sign up to become a member click the link below:
