Play By Play Schedule – Week of August 17th

This week you get to hear plenty of Chicago Cubs baseball, plus the return on high school football and another pre-season Indianapolis Colts game. See the schedule below.

Tuesday, August 18th

The Cubs begin a 7-game home stand at Wrigley Field. They first welcome the Detroit Tigers to town for a 2-game series. Coverage for game one begins at 6:40pm and the first pitch is scheduled for 7:05pm.

Wednesday, August 19th

Tune in at 6:40pm to hear pre-game coverage of the Cubs vs. the Tigers. Once again, the first pitch is scheduled for 7:05pm.

Thursday, August 20th

The Atlanta Braves come to Chicago for a 4-game series at the Friendly Confines. The pre-game show begins at 6:40pm followed by the first pitch at 7:05pm.

Friday, August 21st

• The Cubs continue a series at home against the Braves. Pre-game coverage starts at 2:40pm. The first pitch is at 3:05.
• The Cubs game will be followed by high school football! Ford & O'Bryan will have the call for the Reitz vs. Henderson County game. Pre-game coverage begins at 6:30pm with kickoff to follow at 7pm.

Saturday, August 22nd

• If you want more high school football, we will have coverage of Mater Dei vs. Indianapolis Northwest on our sister station, Newstalk 1280. Ford & O'Bryan will call that game starting at 12:30pm.
• On ESPN Evansville 105.3, we will have coverage of the Cubs vs. Braves game, starting at 2:40pm. First pitch is scheduled for 3:05pm.
• Right after the Cubs game, we will bring you more Colts pre-season action. The Colts host the Bears. Kickoff is at 6:30pm.

Sunday, August 23rd

• The Cubs wrap up a 4-game series against the Braves. Tune in at 12:55pm to hear the pre-game show. The first pitch is scheduled for 1:20pm.
• ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball game is one Cubs fans will keep an eye on as the Pittsburgh Pirates host the San Francisco Giants. Is it possible for both teams to lose? That would be great for the Cubs! Coverage begins at 6pm.
