Indianapolis Colts fans finally get to see Andrew Luck's acting chops in the latest commercial promoting Direct TV's NFL Sunday Ticket Package.

The "Don't Be Like This Me" campaign was made popular a little over a year ago when Rob Lowe starred in several commercials that featured regular, good-looking, charming Rob Lowe who had Sunday Ticket, and another "less desirable" Lowe who could only watch the NFL through his cable provider.

So far this season, the satellite provider has used Eli Manning and Tony Romo in similar ads (with Manning's "Bad Comedian" character being far better the Romo's "Arts and Crafts" character, in my opinion), and now we get "Out of Control Beard" Andrew Luck which is obviously a play on that nasty, unruly neck beard he so famously flaunts over the course of a season.

While he may not look as comfortable in front of a camera as his predecessor, Peyton Manning, Luck does put on an entertaining performance in 30 seconds that shows he's not afraid to poke a little fun at himself. I just wonder how long it will be until we see "Still Uses a Flip-Phone" Andrew Luck hawking Direct TV.
