Southern Indiana Man Turns Record Flooding Into a Float Party
Travis Goodman of Newburgh, Indiana proved that he is the life of the party during this week's record rainfall.
Float at Your Own Risk
I can't personally recommend floating, swimming, or wading in flood waters, but I can tell you that it looks like Travis Goodman knows how to have a good time. While most of us were freaking out about the heavy rain and wind that rolled through Southern Indiana on Tuesday afternoon, Travis Goodman saw the flooding in his neighborhood as an opportunity for a good time.
He might get the opportunity to go floating down the street again since we do have more rain in the forecast.

Confirmed Tornado in Newburgh, Indiana
There was a lot of concern shared on social media about what appeared to be a tornado. Our area was not under any severe storm warnings, so it seemed a bit unusual. However, the National Weather Service has confirmed that it was an EF-1 tornado.
Based on radar data, videos from trained spotters, and a damage survey from our partners at the Warrick County EMA, we were able to determine that a brief EF-1 tornado impacted the NE side of Newburgh, IN, during the afternoon of Tuesday, May 14.
