If you’ve ever been to Disney World, then you already know how magical it is. The folks with Cops Connecting With Kids certainly know how special that place is. They have seen firsthand the effect it can have on young people, and that’s why they continue to take deserving students down to Disney World each year. The Cops Connecting With Kids Disney Adventure covers all of the costs associated with the week-long trip. The only thing students need to do is show up and have the best time of their lives!

Halloween Hustle 5K and Monster Mile Details

On Saturday, October 31 – yep, Halloween morning – you’re invited to Goebel Soccer Complex for the Inaugural Cops Connecting With Kids Halloween Hustle 5K and Monster Mile! It’s a flat, out-and-back route that’s perfect for everyone – runners, walkers, 5K vets, and first-timers. Both the 5K and Monster Mile participants will walk away with a race t-shirt and a finisher medal, so you'll have some hardware to show off no matter your pace.

There will be awards for the top finishers and prizes for the winners of the costume contest. And for the littlest ghosts and goblins, there's the Not So Spooky Sprint, a kid-friendly dash for the 10-and-under crowd, happening before the main races kick off.

And, of course, the most important thing to remember about the day is that you’re helping raise money so that more hardworking and deserving students can hop on the next flight to Disney World. As you can imagine, taking dozens of kids (over 600 since the program began) to Florida for a week is not cheap, and that’s why fundraising is so important!
