I've solved the mystery of the Mystery Machine. It belongs to Matt and Lindsay (and Rocket) Grisham. They are the geniuses behind Evansville Raptor Con and Evansville, Louisville, and Nashville Horror Cons. So, I went straight to the source to find out what inspired this new addition.
Most people go through a midlife crisis and buy a Corvette. Lindsay and I are a little too eccentric for that. We already have a Ghostbusters car and have built a Jurassic Park Jeep, so I figured it was time to complete the throwback style.
Wrapped in Style
Tony Trip is known for his amazing tattoo skills. I have one on my arm. But his talent extends outside of his shop. This is basically a giant piece of art. The van was a clean white slate, and now check it out!
The Scooby van spans so many generations, and it’s fun to see people’s reactions to movie cars rolling down the street.
