Friends, let me introduce you to Our Pet of the Week, LUCY. She's available for adoption right now at It Takes a Village!

LUCY is a 10-years-young pug/beagle mixture...a 25 pound sweetheart! LUCY's owner went into a nursing home, and now she needs a new forever home. LUCY is not so good with other animals - she needs to be ONLY animal in the home. She is good with kids though, and is super friendly. All LUCY needs is a lap or couch to binge watch movies and TV shows!

All of the animals at ITV are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, spayed or neutered and FIV-tested.

Please realize that many of our animals are kept in foster homes. Please complete an online adoption application in order to schedule a meeting with one of the animals. There is no obligation in completing the application.

Keep in mind that It Takes a Village is currently closed due to the pandemic but they are adopting and fostering by appointment only once an online application is approved. Please be patient as they are running with a slim crew while demand has been very high.
