This handsome fella is DALLAS, and he is our Pet of the Week from It Takes a Village!

In this corner, we have DALLAS...a 9-year-old boxer, weighing in at a slender 55 lbs! So, having a mature dog comes with some pros and cons. The pros are that DALLAS isn't a puppy, that means he's potty trained, and he knows how to act. Some of the cons with older dogs are that they are set in their ways. In the case of DALLAS, that means his home needs to have no kids and no dogs smaller than him. And you already have a dog his size, you will need to schedule a meet and greet with DALLAS.

DALLAS is a great dog with some pep in his step. He's been a good boy while in his foster home and enjoys being loved on. His adoption fee is $175. Please fill out an online application if you're interested in DALLAS.

All of  the animals at It Takes a Village are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and treated if necessary.

Keep in mind that It Takes a Village is currently closed due to the pandemic but they are adopting and fostering by appointment only once an online application is approved. Please be patient as they are running with a slim crew while demand has been very high.
