MY Personal Connection To Taylor Swift #swiftyforlife

You've probably figured out by now, that one of my favorite things to do is meet celebrities! Sometimes celebs aren't everything that I've built them up in my head to be. That's not the case with Taylor Swift! I was lucky enough to meet her when she was barely on the charts with 'Tim McGraw". The radio station that I worked at hosted Taylor and her family, so she could call other radio stations & give interviews.

So she was there all day! There was no way to know how famous Taylor would be in just a couple of years. What's really funny about that, is our boss at the station really only wanted her to sing 1 song live (Because she was so new), but we let her do 2! She was also there to sing at Walmart. Yes, I said Walmart! I introduced her back by the CD's, and she sang LOL! I was pregnant with Chase at the time, and we talked about that for a bit. Fast forward a month or so, she called our station to chat & I was on maternity leave. She told them to tell me hi! But that's not all she did...About a week later, I received a card in the mail. The return address just said "Swift"! Taylor was into designing t-shirts & making cards by hand back then & that's what she sent me! It's one of my most treasured possessions.

Obviously, I'm a fan for life, no matter what haters say about her. I'm super excited to hear her new single & the whole album! But, I really hope that she comes out with new Keds for this one. I've been wearing my Limited Edition "Red" Keds since 2012!
