On Sunday, Rory McIlroy became the second youngest golfer in history to win the British Open at age 25. McIlroy has won 3 majors, but has a long way to go to catch Tiger Woods, who is stuck on 14. Like Tiger, McIlroy was introduced to the world as a child on TV; Rory at age 8, Tiger at age 2. McIlroy made his debut on the Gerry Kelly show in Europe after winning the under-10 World Golf Championship. Tiger made his debut on the Mike Douglas show alongside Bob Hope.
It was obvious to anyone watching these shows that these cute little guys were star-bound and today, they are the top 2 golfers in the world. Watch them both back before anyone knew for sure.
