The gorgeous and iconic home from the beloved Holiday classic is on the market! It's been updated over the years. I wonder if the scary furnace is still in the basement?
Home Alone is one of my family's favorite movies. We even dressed up as Kevin and the Wet Bandits for Halloween one year. So, when I saw the McCallister house that really was a character in itself in the movie is for sale, I had to take a closer look. Here are some pictures of what it looks like now and the incredible features it boasts. It has certainly changed a lot!
671 Lincoln Ave, Winnetka, IL 60093 For Sale
This stately five-bedroom, six-bathroom piece of American pop culture was built in 1921. Georgian style architecture, it was majorly updated in 2018. Even though it is now a minimalist modern feel, you can still picture the red and green wallpaper and paint cans hanging from the top of the beautiful staircase in the foyer.
The second floor landing to the bedrooms has a bit of a different set up than the movie. So beautiful!
Formal dining room to the right as you walk in the front door.
Picture Kevin jumping on the bed in the primary bedroom excited to be home by himself.
I think this bedroom is up on the third floor where Kevin is sent to sleep for being a jerk.
Be careful applying that after shave!
Huge open kitchen with double islands for pizza parties and family get togethers.
Beautiful and cozy sitting area.
Check out this awesome game room.
It overlooks a basketball court.
And an awesome movie theater! I love the nods to Home Alone, or course.
Formal living room in the front of the house.
Back patio area is nice and relaxing.

For only $5.25 million it could be yours! Here's the listing for more photos and information
