Holiday World Opens Delicious New Sam’s Smokehouse BBQ Restaurant
A couple of weeks ago, Chad and I went to Holiday World to try out the new Good Gravy ride. We had a blast exploring Stuffing Springs and Grandma Gracy's House before embarking on our gravy boat boomerang ride. It is the perfect ride for families to ride together. Not too wild for the younger kiddos and still fun and nostalgic for the grown-ups.
Good Grub at Holiday World & Splashin' Safari
When going to Holiday World, you have to make your plan of attack when it comes to food. You may not want to feast before going on topsy turvy rides, but there is no doubt the options are almost endless when it comes to delicious and creative meals, snacks, and treats. From tacos at The Alamo, Goblin Burgers, Hot Diggity Dogs, to Freedom Funnel Cakes and the Sugar Plum Sweet Shoppe, your taste buds will thank you. Especially with unlimited drinks to wet your whistle all day!
You can even get a boost of energy with a coffee drink from the Perky Turkey or eat a whole Thanksgiving Meal at Plymouth Rock. Gluten-Free Folks can enjoy George's and, of course, you can't forget the Dippin' Dots located all over the park.
Last year, Holiday World announced the addition of Liki Tiki and Plymouth on the Rocks for guests 21+ to cool off with an ice cold Bahari Blonde Ale or Monsoon Margarita. Perfect in between water fun at Splashin' Safari or rollercoasters in the park. Speaking of perfection, that iconic Udderly Blue ice cream!
