Guests were also treated to an unexpected and rather 'Jurassic' sneak preview of this year's Happy Halloween Weekends.

This guy was situated in the Thanksgiving section of the park and a bunch of his friends are on their way to join him.

Happy Halloween Weekends officially get underway on Saturday, September 20th! The event runs every Saturday and Sunday through October 26th.

THE DINOSAUR CORN MAZE AT HOLIDAY WORLD

As usual, Happy Halloween Weekends will feature a 12-acre corn maze, but this year's will feature some massive, prehistoric guests. Holiday World & Splashin' Safari President and CEO Matt Eckert says there will be over two dozen dinosaurs inside that corn maze.  Guests will be encouraged to pick up an official 'field guide' that challenges them to find and identify the dinosaurs at the park.

DINO SOAR IN THE SKY

Also, each Saturday night of Happy Halloween Weekends, the dinosaurs will make their way out of the corn maze and into the sky. This fall's drone show is called Dino Soar in the Sky and promises to be one the park's most inventive and thrilling yet.
