If classic cars, hot rods, motorcycles, live entertainment, and family fun aren't enough to get you to the Bluegrass Legends Experience, maybe the food will.

Because when the 4th Annual Bluegrass Legends Experience rolls into Owensboro August 21–23, it won't just bring hundreds of incredible rides to the Owensboro Sportscenter and Moreland Park. More than 20 food trucks and food vendors will be on hand, serving up everything from hibachi and barbecue to ice cream, kettle corn, tacos, hot dogs, breakfast and plenty of sweet treats.

And there's a very good reason to come hungry!

The Bluegrass Legends Experience is part of the St. Jude fundraising effort, with 100% of every vehicle entry fee going to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Last year's event and St. Jude Fall Festival raised an incredible $61,000 for St. Jude.

So, grab the family, bring your appetite and get ready for a weekend of cars, community and some seriously good eats!

Hey! Did You Buy One of Those Discount Food Truck Cards?

This is your friendly reminder because I need this reminder too.

Earlier this summer, deeply discounted food truck cards were sold through Seize the Deal, and three of the participating food trucks are included on those cards:

Torera Hibachi
Breakfast Express
Firehouse 29

So if you grabbed one, don't leave it sitting on the kitchen counter!

And There's Much More Than Food

Of course, food is only part of what makes this such a huge weekend for Owensboro.

The Bluegrass Legends Experience will feature hundreds of classic cars, trucks, Jeeps, motorcycles, rat rods and custom vehicles, along with vendors, live entertainment, more than 200 awards and prizes, and plenty of opportunities to hang out with fellow car and motorcycle enthusiasts.

The 2026 event also features expanded motorcycle and bicycle attractions, including an indoor Vintage & World Motorcycle Show, a Saturday Ride-In Motorcycle Show, a Mini-Bike Show and an Indoor Vintage & Custom Bicycle Show.

There's also beer service on the Sportscenter property for those 21 and older, Friday and Saturday evening off-site cruises, and a Sunday morning open-air church service.

And now the complete schedule is available! You can check out everything happening Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and start planning your Bluegrass Legends Experience weekend.

Come for the Cars. Stay for the Food. Give Back to St. Jude.

The Bluegrass Legends Experience is one of those events where you can spend an entire day looking at incredible vehicles, grabbing something delicious from a food truck, listening to live entertainment, and spending time with family and friends.

But at the heart of it all is an incredible cause!

The event helps support St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, where families never receive a bill for treatment, travel, housing, or food. It's a weekend of fun that helps make a difference for children and families facing childhood cancer and other serious diseases.

The 4th Annual Bluegrass Legends Experience takes place August 21–23, 2026, at the Owensboro Sportscenter and Moreland Park, 1215 Hickman Avenue in Owensboro.
