Shop Small and Win Big in Downtown Evansville This November

If you know me, you know I love a good shopping adventure. And if I can support a locally owned small business while I'm at it? Even better!

With the holiday shopping season right around the corner, Downtown Evansville is getting ready to celebrate Small Business Saturday, and they've got some extra incentives to encourage you to shop local.

We're talking free hot chocolate, sweet treats, shopping goodies, and even chances to win gift cards!

Small Business Saturday Returns to Downtown Evansville

The celebration takes place Saturday, November 28, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Downtown Evansville is home to dozens of shops, restaurants, and local makers offering everything from unique gifts to delicious food.

According to Downtown Evansville, 68 cents of every dollar spent at local shops and restaurants stays in the community.

That's a pretty good reason to think local when you're checking names off your holiday shopping list!

Shop Small Passport Offers Chances to Win

Here's how it works: Make a purchase at a participating business and receive a stamp on your Downtown Evansville Passport.

Each stamp counts as one entry into a drawing for Downtown Evansville e-Gift Cards.

The more participating businesses you shop at, the more chances you'll have to win!

Free Hot Chocolate, Treats and More

The event also includes free hot chocolate, sweet treats, and Shop Small bags, buttons, and maps.

The bags and other promotional goodies will be available beginning at 10 a.m. in front of 318 Main Street, while supplies last.

So grab a friend, bring your holiday shopping list, and spend a little time exploring Downtown Evansville.

You might find the perfect gift, discover a new favorite local business, or even win a little something for yourself. Learn more at DowntownEvansville.com.
