One website just ranked Indiana's snobbiest places for 2025, and I'd be willing to bet that you'd be surprised by some of the cities/towns that made the list.

Snobs. They're everywhere you go. Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines a snob as:  a person who has an offensive air of superiority and tends to ignore or disdain anyone regarded as inferior. There are a lot of things in 2025 that people can be snobby about. Commonly, people can be referred to as wine snobs, clothing snobs, book snobs, music snobs, beer snobs...the list goes on and on.  Another type of snob is one that I think we all have experience with, which is city snobs. You know, those who feel like they are better than you because they live in (insert snooty city here). When it comes to Indiana, several cities have a reputation for being snobby. I'm quite sure that you can think of at least one off the top of your head.

Recently, the website Road Snacks compiled a list of the snobbiest places in Indiana for 2025. You know, places that are full of "cake eaters." Now, for something like this, it's important to know how Road Snacks came to its conclusions:

We used Saturday Night Science to look at things like expensive homes, high incomes, and overly educated populations by city in Indiana. These are the criteria you’d argue with a friend over a foodie dinner about who’s snobbier.

After analyzing 116 of the state’s most populous areas over 5,000 people, we came up with this ranking of the ten snobbiest places in the state of Indiana.

So, would you agree or disagree with the places Road Snacks had on this list of the snobbiest places in Indiana? I can see how a few of them made the cut, but I feel like some more notable snobby cities/towns in the state should have been on there. But I didn't make this list. I'm just sharing it with you to get your thoughts. For a complete look at why these towns were chosen, click here.

16 Indiana Towns with Dirty-Sounding Names

A majority of these towns were given their names in the mid-to-late 1800s as settlers making their way across the country found unclaimed plots of land and decided to make them their own. While I imagine they thought the names they came up with were innocent, and perhaps a tribute to something in their lives, pop culture has warped our minds to the point since then that we can't help but think of something about the town that was never intended by its founders. Take a look at this list. I guarantee there's at least one name that will make you chuckle.

30 Bizarre (and Real) Indiana High School Mascots

According to High School.com, there are 682 high schools in Indiana. 555 of those are public schools, while the remaining 127 are private. A majority of those schools have chosen typical mascots to represent them, like eagles, tigers, lions, jets, patriots, and so on and so forth. But, these 30 schools decided to go, well, a different direction.
